What you can expect at LiliB?

Before we begin, I always take a moment to listen to your needs and to understand how you are feeling physically and mentally. 

From there, you can choose whether you prefer a massage or an EFT session. 

For a massage I ensure the room is warm and comfortable. For Shiatsu/Acupressure (also known as "acupuncture without needles"), you may- but are not required to - undress.  If you prefer to keep your clothes on, I recommend light, flexible sportswear.  For the oil-based massages, I work with neutral, caring oils. You will always receive a towel and if needed, a warm blanket, to protect your underwear and keep you comfortable. When lying on your belly I offer you a BodyCushion™ to support an ergonomic position. I adapt the pressure of the massage to your needs and pay extra attention to the areas that feel tense or overworked. Some sensations may feel intense during the massage, this is a natural response of the body as it unwinds. You might notice this feeling for a day or two afterwards your massage. 

Most clients describe feeling deeply relaxed, both physically and mentally , at the end of a massage.

For an EFT session, we remain seated in a comfortable position. I guide you through the tapping points and the phrases we use throughout the session. EFT is often described as "emotional acupuncture without needles". 

You don't need to be physically present at my practice, EFT works equally well online via Zoom , Teams, or another video platform. 

Many clients experience a sense of ease, clarity and emotional lightness after a session. 

Massage and EFT complement each other beautifully. They both offer a gentle way to reconnect with yourself and cultivate inner balance.

Emotional Freedom Techniques

A wide range of EFT variations can be found online. As early as 2013, an estimated 10 million people worldwide were already using EFT. EFT Universe is world leading in writing a standardized protocol called Clinical EFT which have shown efficacious in numerous peer-reviewed studies exploring its effects on stress, phobias, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and various forms of physical discomfort (often chronic pain). I work with Clinical EFT as an evidence-based approach in my practice. 

During a session, I guide you in gently tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on a particular issue. This combination helps the mind create new neural pathways, allowing you to relate differently to challenges and lighten the emotional “backpack” you may be carrying. Tapping can support the body's natural capacity for regulation and helps calm the nervous system.

Relaxing Massage

Relaxation massage is a classic form of massage. It involves gentle pressure techniques alternating with kneading and circular movements. I use neutral, gentle oils, possibly supplemented with an essential oil, tailored to your needs and desires. You will be undressed down to your underwear and I will cover you with a warm blanket where I am not massaging. This massage is extremely relaxing and perfect for a first introduction to the wonderful world of relaxation massages.

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu is a massage technique applied to the physical body that supports and strengthens your natural balace between body, mind and inner awareness. For this massage you may remain fully clothed in light, comfortable clothing. Shiatsu is a form of acupressure that works on the body's energy pathways, also known as meridians. Shiatsu works on the whole being, including the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects. It is a deeply relaxing experience. Shiatsu has its origins in Japan and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The term “Shiatsu” means “finger pressure” in Japanese. Shiatsu aims to support the natural flow of energy in the body, encourages relaxation. Many people experience a sense of stress reduction, calm, grounding, renewed vitality feeling and wellbeing.

I use techniques such as Cranio Sacral Shiatsu Protocol Therapy and the LAHOCHI method, both of which focus on extreme gentle touch, subtle contact and minimal movement. They can be performed on people wearing light, comfortable clothing. Many clients appreciate the calm, spacious quality of this work and the sense of inner quiet it can bring. These approaches invite the body to soften, settle and reconnect with its natural rhythms — offering a peaceful moment of stillness in a busy world.
