What may you expect at LiliB?

Before we start always I take a moment to listen to your needs and current physical and mental state. 

From there you can decide whether you prefer a massage or an EFT session. 

For a massage I make sure the massage room has a pleasant temperature. You may, -but you are not obliged to- undress for a Shiatsu/Acupressure massage. (Also known as acupuncture without needles.) If you choose keeping your clothes on, I recommend to wear light/thin type of sportswear.  For the other types of massage, where I work with neutral caring oils, you always receive a towel (and eventually a warm blanket) to protect your underwear from the oil. Whilst you're laying on your belly I offer you a BodyCushionTM, to optimize your ergonomic position. I adapt the pressure of the massage to your needs, I pay extra attention to the areas where stress and tensions are stuck. Sometimes this hurts slightly during the work, but this will give you a relieved feeling afterwards. The sensations might still be observed during several days after your massage. 

At the end of each massage you usually feel deeply relaxed mentally and physically.

For an EFT session, we remain seated in a comfortable seat, and I explain you the points to tap on and the words to use while the full session. We can call it emotional acupuncture without needles. For an EFT session you don't even need to be present at my practice, we can equally effective perform the full session over Zoom , Teams, or another video calling tool. 

At the end of each EFT session you usually feel more at ease mentally and pain reduces often significantly.

These two methods go perfectly hand in hand together in order to find true inner peace.

Emotional Freedom Techniques

A lot of variations of EFT are available on the web. In 2013 EFT was already used by an estimated 10 million people worldwide. EFTUniverse is world leading in writing a standardized protocol called Clinical EFT which have shown efficacious in numerous clinical trials for reducing stress, phobias, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and (often chronic) pain. I use Clinical EFT as an evidence-based practice for my clients. 

I teach you how to gently tap on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on a specific problem. Tapping leads us to create new neural pathways and therefore to think differently about problems, which has the effect of reducing the “weight of the backpack” of emotions. This activates the body's self-healing capacity and calms our nervous system.

Relaxing Massage

Relaxation massage is a classic form of massage. It involves gentle pressure techniques alternating with kneading and circular movements. I use neutral, gentle oils, possibly supplemented with an essential oil, tailored to your needs and desires. You will be undressed down to your underwear and I will cover you with a warm blanket where I am not massaging. This massage is extremely relaxing and perfect for a first introduction to the wonderful world of relaxation massages.

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu is a therapy applied to the physical body that supports and strengthens your natural ability to heal and balance yourself. It can be practiced on people wearing light, comfortable clothing. Shiatsu is a form of acupressure that works on the body's energy pathways, also known as meridians. Shiatsu works on the whole being, including the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects. It is a deeply relaxing experience. Shiatsu has its origins in Japan and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The term “Shiatsu” means “finger pressure” in Japanese. Regular treatments can reduce stress, prevent illness, and maintain health and well-being. Shiatsu can be useful for a wide range of issues, from specific injuries to more general symptoms.

Energetic treatments using techniques such as Cranio Sacral Shiatsu Protocol Therapy and the LAHOCHI method. These methods involve extremely gentle touch and minimal movement. They can be performed on people wearing light, comfortable clothing.
